What is Driveaway insurance?
 Driveaway is an insurance cover from Norwich Union Direct for all customers purchasing a new or used car from a registered dealer only. This superb benefit provides 7 days' free comprehensive insurance cover, subject to you meeting the terms and conditions and removes the hassle of arranging your insurance before collecting your new car.
How do I get Driveaway?
YOU CAN ONLY GET THIS SERVICE WHEN YOU BUY A USED CAR FROM THE DEALER
First ask your catchacar salesperson for your used car's registration number, their unique dealer code and the
date from which the 7 days' free insurance should start from. Then simply call 0800 015 1392 for a
no-obligation quotation (Mon-Fri 8am-9pm, Sat 8am-6pm and Sun 10am-4pm). You will then receive a
quotation reference number. NUD will arrange a cover note directly with catchacar (Brocars PLC), which you will
receive as proof of your 7 days' free cover once you pick up your new vehicle From the dealer only.

Then...
Once your dealer has received the vehicle cover note, it will enable the vehicle to be taxed. Your 7-day
Driveaway cover will be activated from your agreed collection date, allowing you to 'Driveaway' your
new vehicle.
